Wednesday Outfit Day & Night!
Today I am linking up with dearabbyleigh.com for the first time for her Wednesday, Dress for the Day, link up! Abby's motto is:
"dress for the day you want to have,
Most days of the week I throw on the first thing that I see and rush out the door (sometimes with wet hair... over-share?), so I wanted to take some time to think about my outfit this Wednesday. I am a newbie, but here goes!
The main thing I had in mind (besides I NEED more coffee!) when putting together my Dress for the Day outfit this morning is that I want to be comfortable at work, while still looking pulled together. Our dress code is very casual, but I try to steer clear of t-shirts since they are not as professional as a blouse, which often times is just as easy to throw on. I love the white bow back blouse because it is stylish, work appropriate and really quite comfy.
The Fade to Blue jeans from Last Call are another go to item of mine. They are very affordable, fit great and come in a large variety of different colors. I used to always be a dress gal, but now that I have found a pair of jeans that fit well I have started incorporating more pants in my wardrobe. I mayyyyy have these in 4 colors right now (sorry bank account!!).
One thing I definitely still am 100% though is a flats gal. I love flats! I saw these eyelash flats on ModCloth owner, Susan Gregg Koger, in her Refinery 29 interview and knew I needed them! They are the perfect way to add something fun and quirky to my Wednesday outfit. Throwing a statement necklace on, like this Gemstone Statement Necklace, is another great way to mix it up this Wednesday.
Here is a blurry phone picture of my outfit! One day I will find a robot to take outfit photos of me (and cook me dinner...and do laundry...), but for now I just have my trusty phone and mirror. The top actually isn't that wrinkly but I forgot my steamer in Dallas when I went home for Easter :-( and this blouse was packed in my bag.
Gotta love Polyvore for saving the day when phone photos just don't really cut it:

not the one that’s trying to have you."

Now a close up of my favorite part...the shoes!
Since I am headed to a concert (date night!) after work, I need a quick change. This bow back blouse easily transitions for day to night, so I just need to swap out my pants and accessories. Black leather leggings have been on my must-buy list for a while and these have stellar reviews. This black and white clutch from Zara is unique and Kendra Scott earrings are always my first pick. I know this outfit will give me the confidence I need to muppet dance along to the music in the front of the crowd.

The Perfect Texas Graduation Outift!
Now that Spring Break and Easter have passed, Graduation is around the corner! Graduation is such an exciting time in your life; it is a time to celebrate your accomplishments, your friendships and your future.
Plan ahead for your fun filled Graduation weekend by deciding on a ceremony outfit a few weeks before. Life gets crazy during the weeks leading up to Graduation and you don't want to be left scrambling for a last minute outfit when you have finals and family in town.
We love this new burnt orange dress because it has a pop of burnt orange in a flirty, yet classy pattern. The fit of this dress is so flattering and this shade of blue looks great on everyone!
We love to pair the Gold Texas Necklace with this two tone dress because it shows off your Texas pride without over powering the outfit. This 14k gold necklace is also a great gift for your fellow friends that are graduating.
