What to Pack in Your Game Day Purse

First of all, gotta give a shout out to the Texas Longhorns football team! They defined the meaning of “Texas Fight” in our big win against Oklahoma State on Saturday. I’m already pumped for the Texas vs. West Virginia game this weekend. Seriously, when Monday rolls around, I start counting down for the weekend and for game days.

When game day finally arrives, be prepared with these essentials:
·         Cash. Cash is handy when you and a friend want to split the cost of concession stand snacks/drinks during the game.
·         Band-Aids. After walking around the tailgates all afternoon, my boots often give me blisters. They say that “beauty is pain”, so pack a few Band-Aids!
·         Travel size sun screen. Tans are great, sunburns are not. Be sure to protect yourself from the Texas sun with SPF.
·         Bobby pins and hair ties. My hair never stays down long in the 90 degree heat, so I always have an extra hair tie at hand. Be picture-perfect and photo-ready at all times by packing some bobby pins or other hair accessories.
·         Gum, mints, and dental floss. I like my hotdogs with a lot of toppings, including onions...enough said.
·         And don’t forget your football ticket!

Come visit the Longhorn Fashions Trendy Trailer this weekend at the tailgate on Bevo Boulevard (on 18th St. in between Trinity and Brazos). We’ll have our fashionable burnt orange dresses, tops, and accessories at the trailer until kickoff.

Our countdown for the weekend begins now!
